Marcus Campbell uses 'found-objects' and discarded materials to make surprising work of many styles, sizes and subjects. He is attracted by the history of human need, usage and attachment which these raw materials convey, and by their poignant implications of 'other life' and the passage of time. His work is both abstract and figurative at the same time, and can be large-scale or small, for interior walls or shelves as well as gardens and woodland.
